1 What is Careersanta all about? Careersanta is a dedicated website to streamline recruitment's of students pursuing Commerce Education viz., B.com, CA, CS, CWA, LLB students. We help in finding Articleship and Jobs for CA, CS, CWA, LLB and B.Com students and professionals especially in CA/ CS Firms. To know more, check out About us page
2 I am looking for a job. Where can I send my resume or apply for the openings listed on your site? Careersanta is an online job portal where candidates can register themselves, upload your resume and apply for openings listed on the site as found suitable by the candidate. The procedure for applying for vacancies on our site is as below – 1. Register as a candidate (absolutely free) by filling in your details http://www.careersanta.com/ 2. Activate your account by clicking on the activation link received on your email from Careersanta ( check in spam ) 3. Login into your account on Careersanta using your username and password 4. Click on 'Update Profile' and fill your personal, educational and work details 5. In addition to 4, upload your detailed CV (optional). 6. Click on 'view all openings' on your dashboard 7. Filter the openings using Education, Designation, Profile and Location 8. Click on suitable openings and then CLICK ON APPLY button below each opening to apply for the opening
3 Does the candidate have to pay for registering on the site? No, we dont charge anything from jobseekers for registration on the site or for providing job opportunities and final job placement. We only charge candidates for other services like resume makeover, paid workshops on how to crack interviews, mentorship sessions, etc.
4 How do I come to know whenever a new vacancy is posted on the site? Every time a new vacancy is posted on the site, we post it on Careersanta's Facebook (Careersanta.com Job Portal), LinkedIn(CareerSanta.com) and Telegram (@careersantajobopenings) accounts immediately. Search for Careersanta on these platforms and join our page/ account to stay updated. We also send update EMAILS to all the candidates on a weekly basis giving details of all new vacancies posted on the site.
5 Is it compulsory to upload my resume/ CV and to update the profile? Yes, it is compulsory to upload your resume in word or PDF format only. Updating of profile is also compulsory because of several reasons like many of the details are absent in the resume like CTC, Profile preference, reason for change which is captured in this form. Also, for consistency purpose, recruiters prefer standard profiles. It helps the recruiter to understand details of the candidate in a snapshot before going there further, the details that you enter in your profile are captured in our backend in a database format which enables us to filter and shortlist your profile for various openings by doing a search based on various criteria like qualification, experience, profile preference etc.
6 I have applied for a job and it is showing as walkin interviews. Where can I get interview address? Yes, you can check by clicking on 'Know the Interview date, time and address' on your dashboard under 'Get Started' heading on right side. It will give the list of all openings you have applied for and interview details.
7 I have applied for a job opening and the interview date, time has already expired. How can I know about upcoming schedule for the same job opening? Please send us an email on candidate@careersanta.com along with Job code. If the vacancy still open we will mail you upcoming interview schedule.
8 Can i withdraw my job application ? No, you cannot withdraw job application through the website. You can inform vide sending email on candidate@careersanta.com.
9 I have registered on the site and/ or applied for openings listed on the site by clicking on Apply button and it is also showing in my Application History. However, I have not received any interview call yet? In case of openings listed on the site, firstly you need to Apply for specific openings by clicking on Apply button below each opening and only then would you receive any interview calls. Mere registration is not enough. In case your profile is incomplete, it may not show up when we do a search on our database. If you still dont get a call, it is because the ratio of jobseekers is generally much higher as compared to the vacancies. Many candidates apply for the same opening and therefore, it may so happen that everyone does not get an interview call. It depends on many criteria like your education, work experience, place of resident and so on. Also, in case you are resident of a city other than that of the Recruiter, there are lesser chances of getting an interview call.
10 Can I check the list of openings for which I have applied for? Yes, you can check by clicking on 'Know the Status of openings applied for' on your dashboard under 'Get Started' heading on right side. It will give the list of all openings you have applied for
11 I am not receiving any mail update on new openings posted on careersanta Please check your spam folder to check whether you have received any email from careersanta or search in your inbox by typing Careersanta in search box. If you find any email from Careersanta in spam, click on that mail and mark as 'Not Spam' to continue to receive all future emails in your inbox directly.
12 How and when does my application reach the recruiter? Can I update my profile/ resume after clicking on Apply button? Your application is sent to the recruiter on his email ID immediately once you click on Apply button below the respective opening. Thereafter, your detailed resume/ profile is visible to the recruiter once the recruiter logs into his account on Careersanta. You can update your profile or upload/ update your resume even after applying and the updated profile will be visible to the recruiter if it is done within reasonable time i.e before the recruiter logs in his account to check all applications
13 I have mailed my resume on candidate@Careersanta.com or admin@Careersanta.com. However, I have not received any reply from Careersanta or the recruiter. Note that most vacancies are generally posted on the site itself for which the candidate must apply himself by completing his profile, uploading his resume (optional) and clicking on Apply button below the opening. In case of industry openings or confidential openings for qualified CA/ CS, we notify through emails, facebook and linkedin posts (these openings are not posted on the site) and ask you to send resumes on candidate@Careersanta.com. Thereafter, these resumes are shortlisted and sent to the recruiter. Even though you send the resume, please note that the main reason for not getting an interview call is that there are several applications received by the recruiter for the same opening and therefore, very few candidates are called for an interview. Therefore, one needs to keep trying till something clicks.
14 Do you conduct job fairs? When is the upcoming job fair? We keep organizing and walk in drives at regular interval once in two months. we have organized more than 20 such job fairs/ campus placements in the past. You can check out upcoming job fair on our website, YouTube channel, Facebook or LinkedIn page.
15 How do I register & activate account on careersanta.com? How can I retrieve my password as I have forgotten the same? It's a simple 3 step process. Just log on to www.careersanta.com and click on "Register (New User)" button on the right side of the page. Step – 1 : Click on Candidate/ Student Step – 2: Fill your Details and click on "Create Account" Step – 3: Verify your email address by clicking on the link sent to you in the welcome email. Note - Please check your spam folder also If you don't remember your password, click on the " Forgot Login or Password?" beside login button. It will prompt you to enter your username (email id). A new password will be sent to you on your email id. If problem persists, please write a mail to admin@Careersanta.com or whatsapp the screenshot of 8080807378 and we would resolve the problem at the earliest.
16 I am getting error while registering / applying any openings on site Apologies for the inconvenience. Can you please send us screenshot of the error and the screenshot of the page just before the error ??
